About PIER Systems

Since its introduction, PIER has become the most widely adopted full spectrum on-demand communication management technology. It is used by many of the world’s leading oil and energy companies, by major federal agencies, by leading universities, major corporations and a large number of smaller government agencies, non-profits and commercial enterprises. The PIER System continues to evolve and grow rapidly in response to the active use by hundreds of communication professionals. From its initial base of users focused on crisis communications, PIER has expanded to include all urgent and critical communication applications in both large and small organizations.

Originally incorporated as PIER System, Inc., in 2003 the corporation name was changed to AudienceCentral, Inc.  In August, 2007 the name was changed back to PIER Systems, Inc. simply to prevent confusion. PIER is an increasingly recognized brand for full spectrum communication management. The company is privately held and headquartered in Bellingham, Washington.
